Friend of Winter
This illustration is of a lone yeti monster in a windy storm. The silhouettes in the background varies from trees to rocks, depending on how you interpret it, much like a rorschach.
The original concept of this piece started from putting ink randomly on paper and visualizing the shapes from it.
I saw a storm so I drew a lineart piece first and added a little yeti in it. Afterwards, a value study was created along with the color palette. The final piece is a culmination of visual imagination from abstract shapes.
