Snail Home
A gouache illustration featuring a snail’s home and a little spider in a forest. This piece is traditionally done with gouache on an illustration board. I made three colored comps digitally and then painted two color gouache comps. I chose the blue and purple composition and created this final piece to bring a magical feeling of a snail and a spider meeting each other.
The snail’s home is in the forest’s tree while the spider has it’s web on that tree. The two share a home and greet each other as neighbors. Though they have different homes and have size differences, they still share the same home sweet home.
